The fitness coach asks members to buy protein powder, should members buy it?

For the fitness trainers who work in the gym now, in order to increase their extra income, they may promote some fitness supplements to members who purchase their own private lessons, such as: commonly used protein powder, muscle-building powder, creatine, and branched-chain amino acids, Nitrogen pump, glutamine, etc. Should members buy supplements in the face of such a situation?

Most of the members will choose to buy, after all, a bucket of protein powder is hundreds of dollars, and when introduced to the members, it can allow members to quickly achieve the effect of fitness, whether it is muscle gain or weight loss. The effect is very good. Because many members don't know anything about supplements, they listen to fitness instructors. Fitness coaches also make use of members’ psychology of wanting to achieve fitness effects quickly, so as to impress members.

However, among these members, exercise has a certain foundation, and some supplements can be used. For example, those who have been exercising for more than a year, or have entered a plateau, or those who have insufficient protein intake can be supplemented by drinking protein powder. Usually, such people, they have basically started to drink protein powder. For those who are novices, there is no need to drink protein powder. They don’t know how to exercise. Drinking protein powder is also a waste. Often such new talents may buy protein powder, so newcomers must know and wait for themselves. After having a certain foundation, buy protein powder.

I personally maintain a neutral attitude about drinking protein powder for fitness, and I can drink it or not. As for those who want to build muscle quickly and have a certain fitness foundation, they can drink some protein powder to supplement it. But for those who don't know fitness at all, there is no need to drink it. After all, protein powder is a supplement, not a food, and cannot be eaten as a meal. Moreover, if protein powder is consumed too much, it will cause some harm to the body, so use it with caution.

For those who are now working as fitness coaches, they should not confuse newcomers to buy protein powder for a little extra income. This is irresponsible. Then, as a member, don't listen to the one-sided words of the fitness coach, just use supplements that you don't even understand.
